Dr. Candice Carpenter

Co-CEO & Co-Founder, The Boston Congress of Public Health.

Dr. Candice Carpenter MD, MBA., MPH, Ed.M., BA,is Co-CEO and Co-Founder of the non-profit, The Boston Congress of Public Health. She serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the HPHR Journal and as the Executive Producer of HPHR Health News. She is also a physician, bioentrepreneur, educator, and social justice advocate.

Recently, she was an Equity/Diversity/Inclusion Fellow and a member of the Anti-Racism Committee of the Dean’s Advisory Council for Diversity and Inclusion at Harvard Chan School of Public Health.

From 2017-2019, she was a Fellow for the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Leadership Program. She is a graduate of the Oxford’s Women Leadership in Entrepreneurship Programme in 2020, and Oxford’s Social Impact Program in 2019-2020.

She holds an M.B.A. from Oxford University Said Business School, an MPH in Public Health Leadership and Health & Social Behavior from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, an M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, an Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University.
